principal means by which citizens can participate in the
conduct of City government.  Below is a list of the existing

ACCESSIBILITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE – This five-member Board has one (1) opening serving to July 1, 2010 and one (1) opening serving to July 1, 2011.  Applicants must reside in the city limits.  The Board meets on call. 

BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS – This five-member Board has one (1) unexpired position available serving to October 1, 2011.  Applicants must reside in the city limits.  The Board meets on call.

 CITY PLANNING COMMISSION – This seven-member Board has one (1) unexpired term available serving through January 1, 2012.  Applicants must reside in the city limits.  This Board meets the first Tuesday of each month.

HOUSING AUTHORITY - Applications are being taken to fill two unexpired terms on this five-member board.  The purpose of the Housing Authority is to aid the production of better housing and more desirable neighborhood and community development at lower costs to make possible a more stable and larger volume of residential construction.  One term will run to January 1, 2012 and the other to January 1, 2014.  The makeup of the board shall include representatives from the banking and legal community, one representative from social services, one realtor and one at-large representative.  The unexpired terms represent the legal and real estate professions.  Applicants must reside in the city limits or work at the Coffeyville Industrial Park.  Meetings will be held on the second Thursday of each month.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS - There is one open position for a two-year term on the Montgomery County Community Corrections Board serving through February 9, 2013.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY JUVENILE CORRECTIONS BOARD - This Board has three (3) terms available serving to June 30, 2013.  There are no residency requirements stated.
