Coffeyville Fire Department April 4th Release


Sunday, April 4th, 2021 at approximately 2:10 pm, the Coffeyville Fire, Police and EMS responded to a call of a possible toddler drowning in a pool. CPR was initiated by the toddler’s grandmother then responding units performed additional life saving measures before Emergency Medical Services transported the child to CRMC. The toddler was then flown to Tulsa and is expected to make a full recovery.

Sincerest thanks to the Coffeyville Police Department, Coffeyville Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Services for an outstanding job in patient care. Early CPR is key to positive outcomes in these situations. Citizens trained in CPR help keep our community safe.
