CPD - Investigating Homicide

Date: April 26th, 2021

 

The Coffeyville Police Department is investigating a homicide. At 10:13 a.m. on Friday, CPD responded to the 700 block of West Martin Street for a shooting. When officers arrived on scene it was reported that the gunshot victim, Christopher Temple, 46, of Coffeyville had been transported to CRMC by private vehicle.

 

Temple was later transported to St. Francis hospital in Tulsa, where he succumbed to his wounds.

 

Suspect Ruben Alfonso Ruiz Robles, 24, of Coffeyville was apprehended in New Mexico.

 

Chief Bromley would like to thank the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, Montgomery Co. Sheriff Office, Torrance Co. New Mexico Sheriff’s Department and surrounding New Mexico agencies for their assistance.
