Department heads - city clerk, finance director, human resource officer, IT manager, police chief, fire chief, public works director and electric utility director must reside in the USD 445 school district; and the city manager must reside in the city limits.
A number of positions with the City of Coffeyville require an initial written test. Applicants are notified of testing date and must participate in testing for application to be considered further. Interviews are not automatic. If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted by phone to schedule an interview. This time may vary depending on department needs and priorities but is usually within three weeks after the deadline date. The next steps in the employment process will be explained during the interview.
